The Albany State University Golden Rams (2-1) and the Clark-Atlanta Panthers (1-2) will play in a SIAC battle on Saturday, September 24.  The game will kickoff at 6:00 pm at the CAU Panther Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
 
The Golden Rams are coming off of an impressive victory on the road against Shorter University.  Using a balanced attack, the Golden Rams defeated the Shorter Hawks (42-20).  Dionte Bonneau passed for 246 yards and 2 touchdowns while the Golden Rams rushed 42 times for 279 yards.  Marcuis Fulks led the Golden Rams in rushing with 16 carries for 119 yards.
 
The Clark-Atlanta Panthers were defeated (38-6) by the Lane College Dragons on last weekend.  The Panthers gave up 474 yards of offense to the Dragons.  The Dragons finished with 155 yards rushing on 27 carries.  The Panthers were held to 292 yards on offense.
 
The Golden Rams and Panthers last played on Saturday, September 25.  On that day, the Golden Rams won (49-0).  The Golden Rams "Dirty Blue" defense held the Panthers to 148 yards of total offense.  Dionte Bonneau finished 13-of-18 for 197 yards and three touchdown passes, while Marcuis Fulks rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
