The Albany State Golden Rams volleyball team was defeated in 4 sets by the Savannah State Tigers today in Savannah, Georgia.  The Golden Rams dropped to (5-5) overall and (5-2) in the SIAC while the Tigers improved to (3-6) overall and (3-2) in the conference.
 
In set 1, the Golden Rams lost (20-25).  The Golden Rams battled back to even the score (1-1) after winning set 2 (25-22).  In set 3, the Golden Rams were defeated (20-25).  Ultimately, the Golden Rams lost set 4 by the score of (16-25).
 
 Mary Kate Preston led the Golden Rams with 10 kills and 4 blocks.  Khamari Trotter finished with 3 aces to lead the Golden Rams.  Chelsea Doswell contributed with 23 assists.  Hailey Elyicio had 20 digs to pace the Golden Rams.
