The Albany State University Dekalb County Area Alumni Chapter hosted the 3rd Annual ASU Football Kickoff Party on Sunday, August 28, 2022.  Approximately one-hundred alumni and fans enjoyed fun, food and fellowship during the event.  Coach Giardina and AD Duckworth addressed those in attendance as the Dekalb County Area Alumni Chapter leadership encouraged attendees to contribute to the ASU football program.  During the past three years, the events hosted by the Dekalb County Area Alumni Chapter have raised approximately $30,000 in support of ASU football scholarships.
 
"In addition to the injection of enthusiasm before the season, the funds raised the past three years greatly benefit our annual football scholarship fund.", stated Giardina.
