The Albany State University Golden Rams lost 5-2 to the Point University Skyhawks at the ASU West Campus on Saturday, February 19.  The Golden Rams are now 2-1 on the season.
 
In doubles play, Golden Rams Carla Sorroche and Sumana Panauganti defeated the Skyhawks duo of Tania Herrera and Sofia Gonzalez 6-1.
 
In singles, Golden Rams Bianca Leao defeated the Skyhawks Mariana Espinosa (6-2, 2-6 & 6-0).  Sumana Panauganti also defeated the Skyhawks Joana Gallman (6-1, 3-6 & 6-3).
 
The Golden Rams will compete against Agnes Scott College on Wednesday, February 23, in Decatur, Georgia.
