The Albany State Golden Rams will be back on the road when they travel to Jacksonville, Florida to face the Edward Waters Tigers at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 8.  The Golden Rams will be seeking their 4^th straight win of the season.
 
The Golden Rams are (4-1, 2-0 in the SIAC) while the Tigers are (1-4, 1-3 in the SIAC).
 
The Albany State "Dirty Blue" defense held Miles College to 153 yards of total offense on last Saturday afternoon as the Golden Rams defeated the Golden Bears (20-3) at the ASU Coliseum for their 4^th win of the season.  
 
Edward Waters earned their first victory of the season by defeating Morehouse (49-20) in an SIAC East Division matchup at Glover Community Field and Stadium.  The Tigers dominated through the air as they passed for 338 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win.  The Tigers also displayed an effective rushing attack as they accumulated 116 yards on the ground with 3 touchdowns.
 
On the season, the Golden Rams offense is averaging 27 points per game.  The Golden Rams will enter game averaging 197 yards rushing per game.  The Golden Rams are also averaging 161 yards passing per game.
 
Marcuis Fulks is the leading rusher for the Golden Rams.  Fulks has 69 rushes for 360 yards and 5 touchdowns.  Fulks is averaging 5.1 yards per carry.  Kam Ward has 40 rushes for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Ward averages 5.2 yards per attempt.
