The Columbus State University Cougars scored early and often as they defeated the Golden Rams (15-0) at the Walden Soccer Complex on this evening in Columbus, Georgia.  The Golden Rams fell to (0-10) overall and (0-7) in the Peach Belt Conference.  The Cougars improved to (11-1-1) overall and (7-0-1) in the Peach Belt Conference.  
 
The Cougars outscored the Golden Rams (11-0) in the 1^st period.  In the 2^nd period, the Cougars scored 4 more goals.  A total of (10) Cougars scored goals in the game.
 
Faith Knoedler scored (4) goals for the Cougars.  Emma Beddow and Abigail Akerson both scored (2) goals.  Olivia Roth, Maria Kilset, Anna Grady, Rachael Sweigard, Lauren Barnes, Lizz Forshaw and Brooke Yount scored a goal against the Golden Rams.
 
On Saturday, October 15, the Golden Rams will travel to St. Augustine, Florida, to play Flagler College at 4:00 pm.
