Golden Rams spike CAU on Breast Cancer Awareness Day

Golden Rams win 3-0

The Albany State University Golden Rams volleyball team defeated the Clark-Atlanta Panthers 3-0 this evening at the Jones Brothers HPER Complex. The Golden Rams are now 14-11 (12-4 in the SIAC). The Panthers overall record drops to 10-8 (6-6 in the conference). The Golden Rams have defeated the Panthers twice this season.

Sydney Melton and Joy Robinson combined for 21 kills to lead the Golden Rams. Chelsea Doswell finished with 33 of the Golden Rams 41 assists. Defensively, the Golden Rams tallied 6 total blocks. Jolesia McClenton had 19 digs while Doswell and Melton chipped in with 14 and 12 digs, respectively.

The Golden Rams have now won 6 straight games against the Clark-Atlanta Panthers. The Golden Rams will visit Benedict College in Columbia, SC on Friday, October 29.
