ALBANY, Ga. (April 17, 2019) -The Albany State University softball team (13-27, 10-2) will host the Wildcats of Fort Valley State University for a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup. The three-game series will take place on April 19-20^th. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m.

Fort Valley State University (13-18, 7-8 SIAC) enters the contest coming off a loss to Benedict College  on April 16th.
 
ASU's All-Time Record vs. Fort Valley State University: 23-3
The two programs last met on April 21, 2018 where the Golden Rams secured a 9-0 victory over the Wildcats of Fort Valley State. The Golden Rams currently holds a 23-3 series advantage over FVSU. The first matchup was played on March 10, 2012 with the Golden rams collecting an 8-7 victory.
