ALBANY, Ga. – Albany State men's cross country placed third in a five-team race Saturday, Sept. 29 as it hosted its annual Willie Laster Cross Country Invitational 8K.
Zackary Johnson finished third overall to lead ASU in a time of 27:48.97, with
Chaz Berry finishing fifth with a time of 29:38.87.
Cameo Wilkerson was 17
th with a personal record of 33:54.85. Timothy Heyward was 24
th with a 36:37.66 PR.
Rodney Tookes finished 29
th at 45:14.80.
Morehouse won the team race with an average of 28:24.73. Tuskegee was second (33:30.63), followed by ASU, Fort Valley State and Georgia Military. Â
Albany State will return to action Oct. 13 at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
