Albany State to battle Tuskegee in SIAC Championship

The Albany State Golden Rams and the Tuskegee Golden Tigers will meet in the 2014 SIAC Football Championship game on Saturday, November 15^th. Game time is set for 7 p.m. central time.

ASU and TU will meet for the 41^st time in the series. The Golden Tigers lead the overall record at 19-21-1. The two teams met earlier this season, with Tuskegee winning 20-12 in the 2014 White Water Classic held in Phenix City, Alabama.

Running back Jarvis Small rushed 23 times for 161 yards in the Week 2 loss to Tuskegee. Quarterback Frank Rivers finished 16-37 passing for 164 yards and a touchdown, wide receiver Devonta Osborne caught five passes for 62 yards against Tuskegee. Defensively, Tavarius Washington led the Golden Rams with nine tackles (seven solo), and Cedric Ashe added six solo tackles.
