Jacksonville, Fla. — The Albany State University Lady Golden Rams delivered a strong weekend performance on the road, capturing a 2-1 SIAC conference series win over Edward Waters University. Albany State showcased resilience, timely hitting, and consistent pitching to secure victories in the first two games before closing out the series with a competitive finale.
Albany State set the tone in Game 1, battling back to earn a 6-3 victory. The Lady Golden Rams struck first in the opening inning when
Avery Fisher doubled to bring home the game's first run. After Edward Waters took a brief lead midway through the game, Albany State responded in the fifth inning with key offensive execution. Olivia Mason delivered a clutch hit to tie the game before a sacrifice bunt from

In the circle, Kenzie Fitch delivered a complete-game performance, allowing just three runs (two earned) on five hits while keeping Edward Waters off balance throughout the contest.
The momentum carried into Game 2, where Albany State secured an 8-2 win behind a balanced offensive attack. After trailing early, the Lady Golden Rams responded in the middle innings with an explosive fifth inning. Fisher once again sparked the offense with a two-run home run, while
