Pueblo, CO - The Albany State Men's and Women's Track & Field teams concluded their 2025 season with an inspiring performance at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Pueblo, CO. With six student-athletes qualifying across multiple events, the Golden Rams displayed their grit and competitive edge against the nation's best.

In the preliminary rounds, ASU made a strong early impression. On day one, the Men's 4x100m relay team clocked a time of 40.29, narrowly missing the finals with an 11th-place finish.
Kibren Moore launched his journey to the finals by placing 6th in the 100m dash with an impressive 10.12, while
Nathalia Rowe earned her spot in the 400m hurdles finals after finishing 9th with a time of 1:00.46.

Day two brought more high-caliber competition.
Cadence Cray represented the women's team in the 200m dash, finishing 12th overall with a strong time of 23.40. Moore returned to the track in the 200m prelims, again finishing 6th (20.53) to secure his second trip to the finals. In the 110m hurdles,
Jayvon Hutchinson finished 12th overall, running a time of 13.99.

Championship Saturday was a historic day for the Golden Rams.
Kibren Moore finished 8th in the 100m dash (10.15) and 5th in the 200m dash (20.72), becoming a 2x NCAA Division II All-American.
Nathalia Rowe made history of her own, finishing 6th in the 400m hurdles (59.04) and earning All-American status, becoming Albany State's first women's track All-American since 2011 and the first individual track All-American since 2008.

This year's championship run was a powerful statement of growth, determination, and excellence. The Golden Rams return home with heads held high and legacies in the making.

Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently fields teams in 11 sports: women's volleyball, women's tennis, women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, softball, men's and women's track and field, women's soccer, baseball, and football. All teams compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), except women's soccer, which participates in the Peach Belt Conference.
