Albany, GA — The Albany State University women's tennis team is ready to battle for a spot in the championship match as they head to Peachtree City, GA, for the 2025 SIAC Tennis Championship Tournament. The Lady Golden Rams, ranked No. 2 heading into tournament play, will open their postseason campaign in the semi-final round against Benedict College on Friday, April 18, at 1:30 PM ET at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
The Lady Golden Rams enter the tournament with an impressive 12-6 overall record and a 12-2 mark in SIAC play, continuing to establish themselves as one of the conference's premier programs. This highly anticipated matchup will be a rematch of one of the most competitive showdowns from the regular season. The two teams split their season series, with Albany State claiming victory in their first meeting, and Benedict edging out a narrow 4-3 win during SIAC Roundup #2 to even the score at 1-1 on the year.

Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program.
