Albany, GA – The Albany State Lady Golden Rams are set to kick off their 2025 softball season with a highly anticipated home-opening doubleheader against Southern Wesleyan University on Friday, January 31, at West Campus Softball Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 PM, with Game 2 set to follow immediately after.

The Lady Golden Rams are coming off a strong 2024 campaign, finishing with a 29-19 record, including a dominant 16-4 victory over Southern Wesleyan in their last meeting on February 3, 2024. That game was part of last year's season-opening series, which ended in a 1-1 split between the two teams.
