Albany, GA – The Albany State University (ASU) women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Southern Wesleyan University (SWU) on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the ASU Soccer Stadium. Despite a determined effort, the Lady Golden Rams were unable to find the back of the net, as SWU controlled the match from start to finish.
Southern Wesleyan took command early, scoring two goals in the first half to build a 2-0 lead by halftime. The Lady Golden Rams fought hard to respond but couldn't break through SWU's defense. SWU added a third goal in the second half to seal the 3-0 victory.
With this loss, ASU drops to 1-5 meanwhile SWU improves to 3-3.

The Lady Golden Rams will return to action on Saturday, September 28, when they host USC Aiken at 5:00 PM at the ASU Soccer Stadium.
