Albany, GA – The Albany State Lady Golden Rams delivered a resounding 107-37 victory over Agnes Scott College in their first-ever meeting at the West Campus Arena. The dominant performance improved Albany State to 2-4 on the season, while the Scotties fell to 1-6.
The Lady Golden Rams came out firing, building a commanding 38-12 lead by the end of the first quarter. They maintained their high energy throughout the game, outscoring Agnes Scott in every quarter. Albany State shot an impressive 51.8% from the field and controlled the boards, out-rebounding the Scotties 52-34.
Albany State showcased a balanced attack, with six players scoring in double figures.
Kendall Davis led the way with 13 points and 4 rebounds, while
Jasirae Vick and
Johanna Bell added 12 points each.
Breana Griffin contributed 11 points and 6 rebounds, while
Keyra Peterson recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The Lady Golden Rams' depth was on full display, as every player on the roster contributed.
The Lady Golden Rams were relentless on defense, forcing 20 turnovers and recording 24 steals. Peterson and Bell each tallied three steals, and the team blocked five shots. Albany State's stifling defense held Agnes Scott to just 25.5% shooting from the field and 16.7% from beyond the arc.

The Lady Golden Rams will look to carry this momentum into their next game as they head back on the road to face SIAC rival Kentucky State on Saturday, December 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM CT in Frankfort, KY. Albany State will aim to secure their first conference win of the season.
