Albany State Falls to Spring Hill in SIAC Matchup

Mobile, AL – The Albany State Golden Rams men's basketball team fell to Spring Hill College 95-79 in a hard-fought SIAC contest at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. With the loss, Albany State drops to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference, while Spring Hill improves to 4-4 overall and 2-0 in SIAC play.

The first half was a back-and-forth battle, featuring eight ties and seven lead changes. Albany State shot 58.6% from the field, with Jabari Williams leading the charge with 12 first-half points. The Golden Rams entered halftime with a slim 41-40 lead.

Albany State continued to fight, with Williams contributing a team-high 20 points and Blaise Wallace recording a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Cameron Evans and Shakur Poteat each added 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Up Next:
The Golden Rams remain on the road as they head to Frankfort, KY, to take on Kentucky State on Thursday, December 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM CT. Albany State will look to bounce back and even their SIAC record.
