Box Score Augusta, GA – The Albany State Lady Golden Rams tipped off their season with an impressive 66-58 win over Paine College on the road Wednesday night. With the victory, the Lady Golden Rams start the season 1-0, while the Lady Lions fall to 0-2.

Albany State's offense was anchored by Alaya Grane, who led all scorers with 19 points, showcasing her ability to make big plays throughout the game. Keyra Peterson also made a significant impact, recording a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, dominating the boards on both ends of the floor. Yasmin Fairchild contributed valuable support off the glass and on the scoreboard, finishing with seven points and seven rebounds.
