Golden Rams Set for Exciting Home Opener Against Tuskegee

Albany, GA – The Albany State Golden Rams will tip off their 2024-25 home opener against longtime rival Tuskegee University on Wednesday, November 13, at the West Campus Arena. The game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff, and fans can expect a spirited matchup as the Golden Rams look to build on recent successes against the Golden Tigers.

The Golden Rams enter Wednesday's contest with momentum from the SIAC/GSC Challenge, where they finished 1-1 over the weekend. Meanwhile, Tuskegee arrives seeking their first win of the season, following close losses to Christian Brothers and the University of Alabama Huntsville in the Crossover Challenge.

The last time these two teams faced off, Albany State edged out Tuskegee with a 69-67 victory in a nail-biter on November 27, 2023. The Golden Rams currently hold a two-game winning streak over the Golden Tigers and will aim to keep that streak alive on their home court.

With both teams eager to set the tone for their seasons, Wednesday's showdown promises to deliver a thrilling night of SIAC basketball action. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to cheer on the Golden Rams in their home debut.
