Columbia, SC – The Albany State University volleyball team continued their impressive run this weekend, earning two straight-set victories over conference opponents Benedict College and Allen University. The Lady Golden Rams (now on a four-game winning streak) displayed dominant form in both matches, defeating Benedict 3-0 on Friday night and following up with another 3-0 victory against Allen on Saturday afternoon.
In Friday's match, Albany State took control early, winning by scores of (25-22, 25-17, 25-20) and limiting Benedict's offensive opportunities. Led by strong performances from
Jarianis Perez, the Lady Golden Rams showcased excellent teamwork and solid defense to secure the victory in three straight sets.
The team carried that momentum into Saturday's matchup against Allen University, where they once again demonstrated their strength, winning with scores of (25-23, 25-23, 25-19) ASU's relentless offensive attack and consistent serving kept Allen on the defensive, allowing the Lady Golden Rams to close out the match comfortably.

With their current winning streak extended to four games, the Lady Golden Rams will take on Middle Georgia State on Tuesday, October 8, in Cochran, GA. The match is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start.
