Box Score Macon, GA -The Lady Golden Rams put up a strong fight against Middle Georgia State but ultimately fell in a 2-3 decision, with set scores of 25-22, 17-25, 21-25, 25-22, and 6-15.
Albany State displayed resilience and skill throughout the five-set match. With the loss ASU falls to 7-5, meanwhile, MGSU improves to 5-10.
Leading the charge was
Sydney Melton, who delivered a remarkable double-double performance, finishing with 14 kills and a team-high 25 digs.
Kennedi Wallace added eight kills and 15 digs, while
Natalie Onozie recorded an impressive 37 assists and contributed seven digs.
Talia Smith also had a standout performance, recording a season-high 29 digs to anchor the defense.

the Lady Golden Rams will head to Memphis, TN, for the West Cluster of the SIAC Crossover. They will face LeMoyne-Owen on Friday, October 11, at 2 PM, followed by a match against Tuskegee at 7 PM. The weekend will conclude with an 11:30 AM match against Spring Hill on Saturday.
