Bluffton, SC – The Albany State Lady Golden Rams dropped a 0-4 decision to USC Beaufort on Saturday at Fin Land Field. The Lady Golden Rams (1-12-0, 0-5-0 SIAC) had difficulty containing the Lady Sand Sharks' (7-3-3, 4-2-1) offense, which scored four goals.
The match remained scoreless until just before halftime when USC Beaufort's Jenny Hesby found the back of the net at the 45:49 mark, assisted by Lauren Carmichael, to give the Lady Sand Sharks a 1-0 lead heading into the break.
In the second half, USC Beaufort continued their momentum with Savanna Page scoring in the 62nd minute, assisted by Kennedy Harris, to extend the lead to 2-0. The Lady Golden Rams' defense fought hard, but Beaufort added two more goals late in the match. Kensington Daigle scored in the 85th minute off an assist from Synne Bye-Andersen, and Ashley Harford sealed the 4-0 victory with a goal in the 90th minute, also assisted by Bye-Andersen.

Ava Droze faced 11 shots and made four saves during the match, but the Lady Golden Rams were unable to generate enough offensive pressure to break through Beaufort's defense.
