The Albany State Golden Rams softball team will play the Miles College Golden Bears in round one of the 2023 SIAC Softball Tournament at the Gordon Sports Complex on Tuesday, May 2.  The first pitch is scheduled at 10:00 am. 
 
The Golden Rams are (25-14) overall and (16-6) in the SIAC.  The Golden Rams are the #2 seed in the Eastern Division and enter the SIAC Tournament on a 3-game winning streak.
 
The Golden Bears are (19-19) overall and (13-6) in the SIAC.  The Golden Bears are the #3 seed in the Western Division.  
 
The Golden Rams and Golden Bears last played on May 5, 2022.  On that day, the Golden Rams won (4-1).  The Golden Rams and Golden Bears were scheduled to play at the 2023 SIAC Crossover on Monday, March 13, in Jasper, Alabama.  But, the game was canceled.
 
The winner between Albany State (E2) and Miles (W3) will play the winner between Spring Hill (W1) and Clark-Atlanta (E4) at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 2.
