The Albany State Golden Rams men and women's basketball teams were swept by the Allen University Yellow Jackets in key SIAC Eastern Division games.    
 
The Golden Rams were defeated (61-53) by the Yellow Jackets.  With the loss, the Golden Rams men fell to (7-16) overall and (7-10) in the SIAC while the Yellow Jackets improved to (4-18) overall and (4-13) in the conference.
 
Maurice Dickson led the Golden Rams with 12 points and 5 rebounds while Jaleel Simmons finished with 10 points.
 
The Golden Rams women lost (73-52) to the Yellow Jackets.  With the loss, the Golden Rams women fell to (6-15) overall and (4-11) in the conference while the Yellow Jackets improved to (12-9) overall and (8-8) in the conference. 
 
Kashay Hankerson led the Golden Rams with 12 points while Kayla Milner contributed with 10 points.
 
The Golden Rams will play the Benedict College Tigers on Monday, February 6.  The women will play at 5:30 pm and the men will follow at approximately 7:30 pm.
