The Albany State Golden Rams men's basketball team will host the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes at the ASU West Campus Arena at 7:30 pm on Monday, December 11.  The Golden Rams will be looking to end their current 3-game losing streak. 
 
The Golden Rams and Hurricanes last played on November 20, 2023.  On that day, the Hurricanes won (84-75) in Americus, Georgia. 
 
The Golden Rams are (4-4) overall and (2-2) in the SIAC.  But, the Golden Rams are an impressive (4-1) at home. 
 
The Golden Rams average 66.4 points while allowing 68.4 points per game. 
 
Shakur Poteat lead the Golden Rams with 14.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.  Blaise Wallace averages 13.1 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. 
 
The Hurricanes are (5-1) overall and (1-0) on the road.  A total of 4 players average in double figures for the Hurricanes.  Jalen Johnson lead the Hurricanes with 17.3 points per game.  Jordan Johnson is second on the team with 12.3 points per game.  Freshman, JaKwon Moore, average 12 points per game and Christian Koonce adds 10.8 points an outing.
