Coach Quinn Gray and the Golden Rams will be seeking their 4^th win in a row when Albany State host the Central State Marauders on "Pink Out" and "Teacher Appreciation" Day at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, at the Albany Municipal Coliseum. 
 
In honor of breast cancer awareness, everyone is encouraged to wear pink to the game.  In addition, Albany State University will recognize all of the teachers in the Dougherty County School System.
 
The Golden Rams will honor legendary Coach Hampton Smith, who passed on Monday, October 2, with a special tribute during halftime of the game.
 
The Golden Rams will enter the game with an overall record of (3-2) and (3-0) in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
 
Offensively, the Golden Rams are averaging 315 yards per game.  Defensively, the Golden Rams "Dirty Blue" Defense is allowing 348 yards per game.
 
The Marauders are (1-4) overall and (0-3) in the SIAC.  The Marauders lone win was a (24-21) victory over Mississippi Valley State University in the Chicago Classic at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.
 
The Marauders are averaging 344 yards per game while allowing 438 yards an outing.
