The Albany State Golden Rams earned a split on the road against the Clark-Atlanta University Panthers on Monday evening in Atlanta, Georgia. Â The ASU men won (65-58) while the women were defeated (59-51).

With the win, the Golden Rams men improved to (7-15) overall and (7-9) in the SIAC while the Panthers fell to (6-16) overall and (5-11) in the conference.Â

Maxwell Harris paced the Golden Rams with 11 points each.Â

Horace Wyatt III led the Panthers with 19 points. Dez'Mond Perkins finished with 13 points and 9 rebounds while Demetrius Headspeth chipped in with 11 points and 9 rebounds.

The Golden Rams women fell to (6-14) overall and (4-10) in the SIAC while the Panthers improved to (12-8) overall and (11-4) in the SIAC.Â
