The Albany State Golden Rams women and men's basketball teams earned a split with the visiting Miles College Golden Bears on this afternoon at the ASU West Campus Arena. 
 
In the opener, the Golden Rams women's team defeated the Golden Bears (49-41).  With the win, the Golden Rams improved to (5-8) overall and more importantly (3-4) in the SIAC.  The Golden Bears women's team fell to (7-3) overall and (4-2) in the SIAC. 
 
Kashay Hankerson led the Golden Rams with 12 points, 5 steals and 4 assists.  
Juanisha Black scored 8 points and grabbed a game high 10 rebounds.  
Unique Miller contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
 
Feliah Greer led the Golden Bears with 14 points and 5 rebounds.  Iemyiah Harris and Imani Williams finished with 8 points each in the loss for the Golden Bears.
 
In game 2, the Golden Rams men's team lost a heart breaker (62-59) to the Golden Bears.  With the loss, the Golden Rams fell to (2-11) overall and (2-5) in the SIAC.  The Golden Bears men's team improved to (9-3) overall and (5-2) in the SIAC.           
 
Maurice Dickson led the Golden Rams with 16 points and 12 rebounds.  
Terin Wofford contributed with 11 points and 3 blocks while 
Travis Baker scored 11 points in 17 minutes off the bench.
 
Yasim Hooker led the Golden Bears with 18 points and 9 rebounds.  Eddie Smith added 15 points in the win for the Golden Bears.
