The Albany State University Golden Rams will welcome six new members to the roster during the 2022-2023 men's basketball season.  The recruiting class features signees from the high school level, prep school, community colleges and 3 division I transfers.  "We are excited with the 2022 men's basketball recruiting class that is coming to Albany State University.  We look forward to the challenge of competing in the SIAC," said Head Coach Patrick Gayle.

Andy Antoine; 6'9 So. F Advance Prep, Hillsborough CC
Andy is a skilled forward that can defend and space the floor with his shooting ability. He comes from a great HS program in Orlando (Evans HS).
 
Maurice Dickson; 6'8 Jr. W University of Pikeville, Cleveland St. CC
Maurice is an extremely tough and versatile wing that is transferring from 2 outstanding programs in Pikeville and Cleveland State Community College.
 
Terin Wofford; 6'4 Fr. G Middle Georgia Prep, M. L. King HS
Terin is an super talented guard that has a chance to be special. He has a tremendous work ethic which trends towards a bright future.
 
Bailo Diallo; 6'0 Fr. PG Creekside HS
Bailo is tough and talented defender. He has great size for his position and he is an extremely hard worker.
 
Reggie James; 6'4 Jr. G Coppin State University, Trenton Central HS
Reggie is an ideal leader with Division I conference championship game experience. He has embraced the transition to Albany and has been one of the hardest and most enthusiastic members of the team.
 
Jamir Moore; 6'5 Sr. G Charleston Southern University, Miramar HS
Jamir is very efficient shooting grad transfer that can play multiple positions. We are excited to see him on the court this season.
