The Golden Rams' men and women split with the Allen University Yellow Jackets on Saturday in Columbia, South Carolina. The Golden Rams' women lost in overtime 66-59 to the Yellow Jackets. The Golden Rams' men defeated the Yellow Jackets 74-64. The Golden Rams' women are now 8-17 and the men improved to 10-16 overall.
In the women's game,
Brielle Johnson led the Golden Rams with 16 points and 6 rebounds while
Kashay Hankerson finished with 15 points. Cardrina Nolen led the Yellow Jackets with 23 points and 5 rebounds.
In the men's game,
Jordan Simpson led the Golden Rams with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Khalif Napolean finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
Malik Parker netted 15 points and 4 assists for the Golden Rams. Darius Williams led the Yellow Jackets with 22 points while Stanley Christian contributed with 15 pints and 13 rebounds.
The Golden Rams' women will travel to play Miles College on Thursday, February 24. Miles defeated the Golden Rams 67-60 on Monday, November 29.
The Golden Rams' men will play the Savannah State Tigers on Monday, February 21, in Savannah, Georgia. The Golden Rams defeated the Tigers 58-55 on Monday, February 7.
