The Albany State Golden Rams will play the FAMU Rattlers in an exhibition basketball game at 7:00 pm on Monday, November 21, in Tallahassee, Florida. The Golden Rams will enter the exhibition game with a (0-4) overall record this season. The FAMU Rattlers are also (0-4) overall.
The Albany State Golden Rams men's basketball team began their season by participating in the SIAC and Gulf South Conference Basketball Challenge on November 11-13, in Livingston, Alabama. The Golden Rams lost to Mississippi College (80-50) and West Alabama (87-56).
The Golden Rams also participated in the 2022 ATL Has Something to Say HBCU Challenge that highlighted some of the best HBCU players and coaches in the country. The event was held at Morehouse College in Forbes Arena on November 18-19, in Atlanta, Georgia. The Golden Rams lost to Virginia Union (78-73) and Livingstone College (63-59).
The FAMU Rattlers lost to the University of Oregon (45-80), University of Portland (54-91), Oregon State University (43-60) and the University of Miami (61-87).
The Golden Rams and Rattlers last played on November 20, 2017. On that day, the Rattlers won by the score of (77-59).
