The Albany State Golden Rams women's basketball team will host the Columbus State Cougars at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 19.  The game will be held in the arena on the ASU West Campus.
 
The Golden Rams enter the game with an overall record of (2-1).  On Tuesday, the Albany State Golden Rams women's basketball team stunned the preseason #1 Tuskegee Golden Tigers from the SIAC West Division (68-60).    
 
Kashay Hankerson is leading the Golden Rams in scoring with an average of 15 points per game.  Juanisha Black is averaging 13.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.
 
The Columbus State Cougars, members of the Peach Belt Conference, enter the game with an overall record of (2-1).  After losing their season opener to Chowan University (68-66), the Cougars have won 2 games in a row.  The Cougars defeated Newberry College (81-55) and the University of Montevallo (88-76).
 
Emilia Tenbrock is averaging 14.3 points and 8 rebounds per game for the Cougars.  Olonna Rawls is averaging 11 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.  Amber Abusbeih is averaging 10.7 points per game.
 
The Golden Rams and Cougars last played on November 17, 2021.  On that day, the Cougars defeated the Golden Rams (93-43).
