ALBANY, Ga. (April 30, 2019) -The Albany State University softball team (19-29, 16-2 SIAC) secured the weekend series victory over the Lady Panthers of Clark Atlanta University on April 25-26^th to clinch the Eastern Division Title. The Golden Rams head into the 2019 SIAC Softball Championship as the number one seed.

The 2019 SIAC Softball Championship will feature the top eight teams from the conference which is set to begin on Thursday, May 2 and will conclude with the championship game on Saturday, May 4. The tournament will be hosted at the Gordon Sports Complex in Albany, Ga. Gordon Sports Complex is located at 800 Willie Pitts Jr. Road, Albany, GA 31707
