ALBANY, Ga. (March 7, 2019) -The Albany State University softball team (3-19) will travel to Augusta, Georgia for a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup against the Lions of Paine College. The three-game series will take place on March 8-9^th. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.

The Golden Rams enters the contest after a split doubleheader to Nova Southeastern University (W- 5-4, L- 2-7) on Mar. 5th.

Paine College enters the contest coming off a two game loss to Allen University on Feb. 15th.
 
ASU's All-Time Record vs. Paine College: 19-0
The two programs last met on April 14 6, 2018 where the Golden Rams secured a (19-2, 19-0) victory over the Lions of Paine College.  
 
What's Next?
The Golden Rams will next travel to Jasper, Alabama for the SIAC Crossover Tournament where they will face Tuskegee University, Lane College, Kentucky State University, LeMoyne-Owen College, Spring Hill College and Miles College on March 14-16^th.  All games will be played at Memorial Park which is located at 1301 10^th St W., Jasper, Alabama 35501.
