BASEBALL FAILS TO COMPLETE SWEEP ON SUNDAY

ALBANY, Ga. | After sweeping the first two games of a three game series with Young Harris, the Golden Rams baseball team fell to the visitors 19-1 in the weekend finale. 

Runs came early and often for the Mountain Lions as they tagged starter Jordan Griffin (0-1) for four runs on three hits in 1.0 plus innings of work.

Young Harris would go on to score runs in six of the first seven innings with ASU only able to respond in the bottom of the 2nd with a RBI double from Travis Ray Jr. 

Ray Jr. finished 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI.

Albany State (2-1) is home again next weekend as they host Emmanuel College for a three game series at Golden Rams' Field at West Campus. Game one is scheduled for Friday, February 8th, at 6:00 pm.
