ALBANY, Ga. (February 26, 2019)- The Albany State University baseball team lost 1-0 in its midweek non-conference matchup against Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) this afternoon at Golden Rams Field.
 
Game Overview: Albany State 0, Auburn University at Montgomery 1
Blaylor Galice and Tyler Berry pitched four innings each and allowed just one run on three hits while striking out eight batters. Cody Chapman pitched the final inning of scoreless baseball.  The Golden Rams tallied two hits in the game as the only run came from AUM in the bottom of the fifth inning.

The Golden Rams will host a four-game series against the Hawks of Saint Anselm College on March 1-3. The first game is slated for 6 p.m. The Golden Rams will return on Saturday in doubleheader action with first pitch slated for 1 p.m. Albany State will close out the series on Sunday, March 3rd at 1 p.m.
