ALBANY, Ga. | The Golden Rams baseball team hosted a doubleheader with Eckerd College on Saturday.

Game 1

Eckerd scored early and often in the first game; scoring 10 runs in the first four innings on their way to a 14-4 win.

A sacrifice fly from Kyle Walker in the 4th inning plated Albany State's first run of the game. Johnathan Cirullo would later score on a wild pitch for ASU.

Walker connected with a two run home run to left field to round out the scoring for the hosts.

Cirullo was 2-for-4 for ASU with a run scored.

Roman Oliu (1-1) took the loss for the Golden Rams in 4.1 innings of work.

Game 2

The Golden Rams managed just one hit and failed to score in the second contest.

Theo Smith singled to open the home half of the 5th inning for ASU's only hit.

Garrett Hiott was 2-for-3 with two RBI, a double and a triple for the Tritons.

Michael Reddick (0-1) went 5.0 innings and struck out three in the loss.

Albany State (3-6) will conclude their series with the Tritons on Sunday with a single game beginning at noon.
