ALBANY, Ga. | The Golden Rams baseball team concluded their three game series with Eckerd College on Sunday.
After falling behind 1-0 in the 2nd inning, ASU scored two runs in each of the next two innings highlighted by a two RBI single to centerfield by Travis Ray Jr. giving the hosts a 4-1 victory.
It was all the Golden Rams would manage as the Tritons scored seven unanswered runs to take the game 8-4.
Johnathan Cirullo and Theo Smith logged two hits a piece.
Malik Barrington (2-1) went 5.1 innings in the loss, allowing only three earned runs and striking out four batters.
Albany State (3-7) opens a three game series with Point University on Friday, February 22nd. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm at Golden Rams' Field at West Campus.
