BASEBALL FALLS IN VALDOSTA

VALDOSTA, Ga. | The Albany State baseball team traveled to Valdosta on Wednesday for a midweek matchup with the Blazers.

A six run 1st inning set the pace for Valdosta State who scored the first 11 runs of the game before ASU was able to answer.

Kevin Bryant II connected for a 3-run home run in the 6th inning to bust up the shut out.

Kyle Walker had a pinch hit single in the 8th inning to drive in Johnathan Cirullo to round out the scoring for the visitors.

Bryant II finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored.

Blaylor Galice (0-2) took the loss for the Golden Rams.

Albany State (3-4) will host a three game series with Eckerd College this weekend. Action begins on Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 pm.
