ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany State University volleyball team is set to host the Lady Wildcats of Fort Valley State University in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match-up on October 15^th at 6 p.m.
 
The Golden Rams enter the contest coming off 3-1 victory over Savannah State University on October 1^st. Albany State defeated Savannah State University in three sets (22-25, 25-16, 26-24, 27-25).
  
The Golden Rams currently hold a 15-1 series advantage over Fort Valley State University. The first match of the series was played on September 19, 2011 where Albany State collected a 3-0.

Fort Valley State collected a 2-3 victory over the Golden Rams on September 11, 2018.

The Lady Wildcats enter the contest coming off a 0-3 loss to Savannah State University on October 11^th.
