LAWRENCE HYDE SELECTED FOR NCAA CAREER IN SPORTS FORUM

Baseball Student-Athlete to Attend Career Enhancement Seminar

INDIANAPOLIS- Albany State University's Lawrence Hyde has been selected to attend the 2018 NCAA Career in Sports Forum.
 
The event is scheduled to take place May 31-June 3 at the NCAA National Office and is designed to assist student-athletes in charting their career paths, as well as provide an opportunity to network and learn from current athletics professionals.
 
Hyde, a native of Excel, Alabama is majoring in History at Albany State. As the starting catcher for the SIAC Baseball Champions, he started 42 of 43 games for the Golden Rams recording 224 putouts with 26 hits and 20 RBI on the year.
 
The Career in Sports Forum, an annual educational forum hosted by the NCAA, brings together 200 student-athletes to learn and explore potential careers in sports, with the primary focus on college athletics.
