HARROGATE, TN- Two members of the Albany State University women's soccer team made history in Tuesday afternoon's 3-1 loss to Lincoln Memorial.

The first goal in ASU history came at the 68:21 mark courtesy of Jenna Wade on the program's first ever assist from Leticia Cupulille.

The first goal in ASU history aside, as a team the Lady Golden Rams had their best offensive showing of the season on Tuesday. They finished the game with a season best 10 shots and tied their season high with 5 shots on goal. Abby Whiteside finished the game with 9 saves while Cupulille and Brittanie Evans finished with 2 shot attempts apiece.

Defensively ASU rebounded from surrendering three first half goals to Lincoln Memorial to hold the Lady Railsplitters scoreless the rest of the way.

Lincoln Cawthorne got her first two goals of the game, and of the season, at the 7:39 and 39:06 marks. The first came off a corner kick, the second went for 30 yards off an assist from Patricia Roach.

The Lady Golden Rams (0-7) will return to action on October 4^th against Georgia College in Milledgeville, GA. Game time is scheduled for 6pm.
