GEORGIA COLLEGE DEFEATS ASU SOCCER 4-1

MILLEDGEVILLE, GA- Georgia College defeated Albany State University 4-1 Wednesday evening in soccer action.
Sydney Bishop scored her first career goal, the second in ASU history, in the second half at the 68:04 mark on an assist from
Izzy Salazar.
Abby Whiteside put up an 11 save effort for the Lady Golden Rams who fall to 0-8 on the year. As a team ASU tied their season high for shots (10) and set a new high with six shots on goal in the match.
Sofia Lekas scored the game's first goal at the 18: 28 mark and a minute later Amanda Bartholomew added another and the Bobcats held a 2-0 lead at halftime. Ragnhe Bjarnadottir accounted for both of GSC's scores in the second half, one at 60:33 the other at 67:16 off an assist from Bartholomew. The Bobcats (5-4) totaled 35 shots in the game including 2 corner kicks.
The Lady Golden Rams will return to action on Saturday, October 7
