MONTEVALLO, AL- The University of Montevallo Falcons held off Albany State University for a 2-0 soccer win on Friday afternoon.

Jenna Wade paced the Lady Golden Rams with 4 of ASU's 9 shots, 2 of which required a save by Montevallo goalie Judith Perez-Bayon.

The two goals scored by Montevallo represents a season low for an ASU opponent this in 2017. The Falcons amassed 33 shots between the two halves, scoring a goal in each. Kristen Chance connected on her first goal of the season at mark 32:42 of the first half and Allye Darnell earned her second of 2017 on an assist from Christiane Malone at 57:50.

Abby Whiteside finished the afternoon with 10 saves for Albany State.
