ASU VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO UNIVERSITY OF MONTEVALLO

VALDOSTA, GA- Albany State University fell to the University of Montevallo at a neutral site volleyball match hosted by Valdosta State University on Friday afternoon.

Montevallo took the match in three sets 25-13, 25-10, 25-21.

Justice Howard paced the Lady Golden Rams with a team high 9 kills. Jahkishma Soto anchored the offensive attack with 11 assists and put up ASU's only two service aces of the match. She also had a team best 9 digs.

The Falcons (4-4) racked up 38 team kills on 37 assists and got double digits in assists from Harley Masoner and Liz Tisch with 18 and 13 respectively. Brie Blume led all performers with a match best 11 kills along with 5 digs and 2 service aces.

The Lady Golden Rams (0-2) will wrap up today's tri-match against the host Valdosta State University at 5pm.
