Lady Golden Rams Will Close Regular Season Thursday at Tuskegee

ALBANY,GA-Svehla Taylor had a game high 10 kills as the Georgia College Bobcats downed Albany State University in straight sets (25-20, 25-20, 20-10) Tuesday night in volleyball action at HPER Gymnasium.

The Bobcats improve to 20-5 on the season and sweep this year's season series with Albany State.

As a team Georgia College, using a balanced attack, had 15 kills in both of the first two sets and hit a 43% clip in the third set to close out the match. In that third and final set, ASU was held to just to kills against 8 errors. The Lady Golden Rams were outpaced 39-21 in kills and also gave up 8 service aces to the Bobcats. Kayla Brockway anchored the GC's offensive attack with 34 assists; all but one of the Bobcats' kills we set up by an assist in the match.

Justice Howard led Albany State with 6 kills and Jannai Cheeks finished with a team high 7 digs.
