Game Day RAM-blings Albany State Men’s Basketball vs. Georgia College

The Albany State Golden Rams will be attempting to extend their win streak to two games when they face the Georgia College Bobcats on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at ASU HPER Gymnasium.

ASU (1-2 overall) is coming off a pulsating 70-65 win over Georgia Southwestern State University. Junior guard Brandon Hudson scored a career-high 21 points and added eight rebounds, three steals and three blocks. He has been named the SIAC Player of the Week.

Junior forward Devontay Ward provided the Golden Rams with an inside presence with 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Junior guard Khaliq Hughes tallied 12 points and four assists in the victory.

Georgia College will enter game after defeating SIAC member Tuskegee University 59-51 in Tuskegee, Ala. Chaz Berry led the team with 14 points and five rebounds. Brice Booker came off the bench to score 12 points.

Last season, the two teams split a pair of contests, and each squad won on the other's home courts. Albany State won the Nov. 20 meeting 56-55 before the Bobcats won the rematch 87-63 on Nov. 28.

Fans who will be attending the game can gain admission with a donation of a canned good or a toy for the ASU Athletics holiday drives.
