Despite the inclement weather, the Lady Rams bats were hot early. Albany State scored at least two runs in four out of five innings and ended the game via the eight-run, five innings rule.

Chelsea Hicks collected four hits, including a double and a homerun, and four RBIs. Bryant added three hits (with two doubles) and one RBI, and Banks and Gale each collected two hits. Lopez was the winning pitcher, while Atkism, who also homered in the game, recorded the save.
