Ty’Janae Brown enters her first season as a graduate assistant with the Albany State women’s basketball program.

Brown brings firsthand experience as a Golden Ram student-athlete and looks forward to mentoring and supporting the next generation of Lady Golden Rams.

During her time as a student-athlete, Brown was a four-year starter for the Lady Golden Rams softball program, where she earned multiple All-Conference honors while helping lead the team through several competitive seasons. Known for her leadership, work ethic, and competitive spirit, she was a key contributor both on the field and within the program.

A native of Powder Springs, Georgia, Brown attended South Cobb High School before continuing her academic and athletic career at Albany State University. Brown earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Albany State and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in accounting. In addition to her graduate studies, she is also working toward obtaining her real estate license.
