Todd Triplett

Todd Triplett is entering his first season as Interim Head Coach of the Lady Golden Rams Basketball Program.

Triplett joins Albany State following a successful three-year tenure in Mexico's CIBAPAC, CIBACOPA, and ABCMex leagues, where he coached in Zacatecas, Guaymas, and Progreso. Previously, he served as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Edward Waters University and led West Oaks Academy to the 2020 SIAA Girls Basketball State Championship. Before Edward Waters, Triplett held the role of Associate Head Men's Basketball and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Clark Atlanta University.
 
Triplett's early coaching experience includes volunteering with Bethune-Cookman University's basketball program and serving as Assistant Men's Coach at Brevard Community College. He also contributed to the revitalization of the American Basketball Association (ABA) as head coach of the Orlando Aces and served as head coach at the NBA-sanctioned Global Hoop Summit in Las Vegas.
 
Triplett's professional playing career took him to Europe, where he competed in Reykjavik, Iceland, and later coached in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. His basketball journey began at Atlanta's Redan Senior High and continued as a standout player at Morris Brown College. An Atlanta native, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Charter Oak State College and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from InterContinental University.
 
A proud father of three daughters and a dedicated member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, Triplett is committed to fostering excellence and leadership within Albany State's student-athletes. He looks forward to helping the Golden Rams excel both on and off the court, focusing on skill development, sportsmanship, and academic success.
